Big Dreams Ranch – An Animal Experience You’ll Never Forget

Big Dreams Ranch in Ira Township, Michigan, offers a unique animal experience designed to bring guests closer to some truly amazing animals. Instead of simply viewing animals from a distance, the ranch focuses on creating memorable, up-close encounters where visitors can slow down, connect, and experience the personalities of their animal ambassadors.

Guests can choose experiences featuring kangaroos, capybaras, sloths, or a combination of encounters. Depending on the experience selected, visitors may have opportunities to interact with the animals, take photos, offer treats, and learn more about them. After your scheduled encounter, you’re invited to explore the ranch and see even more of its residents, including whitetail deer, reindeer, birds, and other animals that call Big Dreams Ranch home.

Big Dreams Ranch began with owners Darren and Jen Wehner and their love of animals. What started as a horse-boarding facility grew after the arrival of Atlas, their first kangaroo, and eventually developed into the interactive animal experience guests can enjoy today.

The ranch also offers several creative ways to visit. Experiences include afternoon animal encounters, guided ranch tours, Coffee with Kangaroos, and special twilight visits that allow guests to see the kangaroos during a more active part of their day. Group visits, events, and special requests may also be accommodated.

All visits to Big Dreams Ranch are by reservation only. This approach helps create a more personal experience while allowing the ranch to manage guest interactions with the comfort and well-being of the animals in mind.

Whether you’re planning a family outing, celebrating a special occasion, or simply love animals, Big Dreams Ranch offers something different from the traditional zoo or farm visit.

Don’t just see the animals—experience them!
